We want every customer to know in advance what happens if plans change. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for our standard services. Your written quotation or agreement may contain project-specific terms; where it does, those terms apply.
Before work begins
If you cancel after approving a quotation but before we start work, any advance paid for development is refunded, less any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf with your approval (for example a domain you approved and we registered).
Development work in progress
If you cancel during development, you pay for the work completed up to the cancellation date, assessed against the agreed scope and milestones in your quotation. Any advance paid above the value of completed work and approved third-party costs is refunded. We will share the work completed so far once outstanding amounts are settled.
Completed development work
Once the website has been delivered and approved, or launched, the one-time development fee is for work already performed and is not refundable, except where we have failed to deliver the agreed scope and have not fixed the issue within a reasonable time after you told us about it.
Monthly plans
- You can cancel a monthly plan by giving written notice (email or WhatsApp) at least 15 days before the next billing date.
- Monthly fees already paid for the current month are not refunded, as hosting and support are provided for that period.
- Unused minor support time has no cash value and is not refunded or carried forward unless your written agreement says otherwise.
- If a monthly fee is paid in advance for several months, fees for complete months not yet started are refunded on cancellation, less any discount that depended on the longer term (if stated in your agreement).
Domains and third-party costs
Domain registrations, renewals and other third-party purchases (paid plugins, themes, stock images, messaging credits, app store fees and similar) are generally non-refundable once purchased, because the provider does not refund them to us. We make these purchases only with your approval. A domain registered for you remains yours, and we will help you move it to your own account if it is not already there.
Hosting termination and website handover
When a monthly plan ends, hosting provided under that plan will stop at the end of the paid period. Before that date, on request and once all outstanding amounts are settled, we will provide:
- A copy of your website files and content you supplied, and data export of enquiries stored for you, in a commonly used format
- Help pointing your domain to a new host
Third-party licences that cannot be transferred, and our own reusable tools or templates licensed for your use, are handled as described in your agreement. We recommend requesting your handover at least 15 days before the end of the paid period.
Cancellation by us
We may suspend or end services if fees remain unpaid after reminders, or if a website is used for unlawful content or activity. We will give notice where reasonably possible and provide the handover described above for paid-up services.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method or by bank transfer within 15 working days of the cancellation being confirmed.
